I'm very excited to decide on a new design for this blog, I feel like the layout and feel of my blog needs to change in fitting with my more recent work and shall be trying out various new designs over the coming weeks.  Thank you all for your continued support. Hello everyone. Long time, no post!

I've had a busy few months since my exhibition with Spectrum photography festival. I'm very happy to tell you all that I've successfully graduated from Nottingham Trent University with a 2.1 degree. I'm so proud to have studied there and had the opportunity to meet and work with some amazing people, both tutors and fellow students. 

As I never updated this blog after the exhibition, I thought I'd share a few images with you from the show. I was very pleased with my work, my images turned out just as I'd hoped they would. Many thanks to John E Wright in Nottingham for mounting my images beautifully. Hopefully, some of you managed to attend the festival and were able to see the very high standard of images on show. Update on Spectrum Photography Festival!

It's coming up very soon and the website has now gone live at www.wearespectrum.co.uk! 

I will be exhibiting a series of my most recent work at: 

24-32 Carlton Street, Nottingham, UK 

 from 20th May- 3rd June 2013 alongside a variety of other wonderful photographers. Just in case you need any other reason to come see us, we're also pairing up with 'NOTCH', a very talented group of  young artists who will be selling a selection of handmade wares. 

There will be further Spectrum venues across the city, so there will be plenty of work to see from many other photographers spanning all genres of photography. It promises to be a very exciting event.

These are from my shoot today, I got a bit carried away and have decided to post some of these before the images from last week's shoot. They are all currently individual images, hence the slight variations in colour cast, but I'm considering images from today for my final exhibition.

I'm yet to decide whether or not I will include vertical images in my exhibition piece, purely because I don't usually take them. However, this final image was far too nice to not show you.

Once again I must apologise for being slow on updating you with my new work. I'm currently working on images for the photography festival 'Spectrum', which is running in Nottingham, UK from the 20th May- 3rd June 2013. I'll keep you updated on the news and events for this exciting collection of exhibitions, it'd be brilliant to see you all there!

Here's some of my newest work, though due to me being behind on posting, I have loads more images to share with you all. Many thanks to Emma Bogdanowicz for the help with shooting these self-portraits, the situation was both hugely messy and very smelly (raw animal organs don't smell amazing after they've been vacuum packed for a while), there was blood everywhere!
